Acne Control

We have many products that either alone or in combination help control acne.  An assessment is carried out to determine the best course of action.

The first aim is to control inflammatory, painful, unsightly, red breakouts. The underlying problem is a thickened oily surface layer, often with plugged, blocked pores. Avoiding camouflage makeup, and using alcohol or lotion based makeup or sunscreen helps.  Acne is worse in winter - sunlight helps with control.

Scrubs ease cells off the skin surface, and dermabrasion is a more effective way to achieve this. Light based therapies such as LED lights, vascular lasers such as the Gemini, and photodynamic therapy PDT are very effective.

Oral treatment with antibiotics or a form of oral Vitamin A (Isotretinoin) may be indicated.
