Small hard white lumps often around the eyelids or on the face are unsightly and these can be removed.  Radiofrequency ablation is a good choice, inserting a tiny electrode wire tip into the lesion and heating it. The lesions become a bit red and swollen, and slowly subside and diminish over weeks. A second treatment may be required. Ablation with a CO2 laser is an alternative. Very large milia can be surgically removed under local anaesthetic.
